01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SoundDrop you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
02 Eligibility
SoundDrop is open to legal residents of the United States only, aged 18 or older. Participation is void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, or affiliates of SoundDrop and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes. We use IP geolocation to enforce the U.S.-only restriction. Use of VPNs or proxies to circumvent this rule results in immediate and permanent disqualification.
03 Entry Limits
Each user is limited to 2 quiz entries per 24-hour period, tracked via IP address and account session. Attempts to circumvent entry limits through multiple accounts, VPNs, proxies, device switching, or any other method will result in disqualification of all entries and a permanent ban from the platform.
04 Anti-Cheat & Fair Play Policy
SoundDrop employs active anti-cheat technology including: AI-pattern detection on audio clips, screen recording detection, tab-switch and window-focus monitoring, frequency-shift audio protection, and server-side response validation. Any cheating, including use of AI tools, screen recording, tab switching, automated scripts, or sharing clips will result in immediate disqualification with no appeal. Our decision is final.
05 Prize & Payout Terms
The current prize for scoring 10/10 in a single session is $40 USD. Prize amounts may change between monthly cycles and will be clearly displayed before gameplay begins. Winner must submit a valid claim within 72 hours. Payouts are made via PayPal or Venmo only. Identity verification may be required. One prize per person per monthly cycle. Fraud or cheating may result in withheld payment.
06 Intellectual Property
All content on SoundDrop including audio clips, graphics, mascot designs, logo, and written content are the property of SoundDrop or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Audio clips are licensed for use on this platform only and may not be recorded, redistributed, or shared in any form.
07 Prohibited Conduct
Users may not reverse-engineer or extract audio files, use automated tools, create multiple accounts, harass staff or users, post false claims, or interfere with platform security or servers. Violation of any of these rules may result in a permanent ban and potential legal action.
08 Disclaimer of Warranties
SoundDrop is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Technical issues, server downtime, or force majeure events may affect quiz availability without notice.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoundDrop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the value of the prize pool for the current monthly cycle.
10 Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.
